To achieve this kind of success, businesses made process improvements, revised and replaced systems and structures, and improved total quality – to six decimal points of exactness – all of which does not leave much room for future growth and improvement.
At PurposeWorks LLC, we believe that success in the future, both personally and professionally, lies in the relatively uncharted territory of right-brain skill sets – emotional intelligence, people skills, integrity, trust building, meaning and purpose, even love. We do not learn these skill sets in our M.B.A. courses. They generally are not addressed in our training and continuing professional education efforts. Few if any systems are readily available to measure and report on them. And yet, developing and using these intuitive, creative, right-brain skills to support our previously developed rational, logical, left-brain skills is the key to future success.
